Brand consistency is the single most requested capability in our upgrade data (CatalogX platform data, September 2026) — and it makes sense. Product photography's job is not just to show the garment; it is to make sixty listings read as one commissioned shoot.
How it works
On Pro and above, upload a photo of your own model — yourself, your in-house model, or a model whose photos you have rights to use — and CatalogX saves them to your model library. From then on, every try-on, batch run, e-commerce pack and Agent conversation can shoot on that person. One face, one body, one brand, every SKU. Saved models work alongside everything else: your saved backgrounds, saved poses, poses from the catalog, and video.
What the rest of the market does (verified September 2026)
| Tool | Custom / consistent model |
|---|---|
| CatalogX | Upload once, saved library, reuse on every shot — included from Pro (₹849/month), no per-image surcharge |
| FASHN | Face Reference: gated at the $99/month Agency tier, +2 credits per image, degrades at 4K — and no saved model library, so the reference is re-supplied per shot |
| Botika | Declines custom models on principle; Enterprise-only exception |
| Photoroom | Custom models save to its Brand Kit, but no demographic parameters at all elsewhere — 16 fixed presets |
The shape that matters: save once, reuse forever, no surcharge — at the entry paid tier, not the top one.
The fine print, stated plainly
"Your model" means a person whose photos you have the right to use commercially — yourself, someone you employ or hired with a release. That is a rights question no tool can answer for you, so we say it here instead of hiding it.
