CatalogX creates both the model photos and the written listing for Flipkart, Amazon, Meesho and 14 other marketplaces. It turns a flat or hanger photo of a garment into an on-model photo from ₹12 a photo (5 free photos on signup, no card), and its free Listing Pack then writes a title (under 150 characters), up to 5 bullets, a description (under 900 characters) and nine attributes per SKU, resizes every image to each marketplace's spec and fills that marketplace's bulk-upload sheet with its own image columns. CatalogX never states a fabric composition it cannot see in the photo — those fields go into a "Confirm before upload" column for the seller to check.
What the Listing Pack writes for each SKU
| Field | What CatalogX writes | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Title | Garment first, then colour, then one or two defining details. No brand name, no superlatives. | Under 150 characters (Amazon's apparel ceiling is 200) |
| Bullets | One fact a shopper would check per bullet | Up to 5 |
| Description | Two to four plain sentences | Under 900 characters |
| Attributes | Colour, fabric (as it appears), neckline, sleeve, fit, pattern, length, occasion, care (suggested) | 9 columns |
| Confirm before upload | Every attribute that is a visual inference — fabric look and care | Per SKU |
The copy is read off the finished on-model shot by one text read per SKU, not per image, and cached — so making a second pack of the same shots costs nothing and changes nothing. It describes only what is visible: it will not invent a brand, a size, a price or a material percentage. Fabric comes out as a look ("cotton-look", "chiffon-like sheer"), never as "60% cotton", because a composition the seller never confirmed is a return waiting to happen — and on Amazon, a policy problem.
The 17 marketplaces, and what each one gets
CatalogX's Listing Pack covers Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, Amazon India, Amazon US, AJIO, Nykaa Fashion, JioMart, Snapdeal, Walmart, Etsy, eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Poshmark, Depop and Zalando. For each marketplace you tick, the ZIP contains:
- Every image resized to that marketplace's canvas — for example 2000×2000 for Flipkart and Amazon, 1080×1440 for Myntra, 1080×1080 for Meesho, 1500×2000 for AJIO and Nykaa Fashion.
- A sheet in
listing-pack.xlsxcarrying that marketplace's own image column headers, one row per SKU, plus a suggested-title column. - A "Listing copy" sheet with the title, bullets, description and attributes, a
manifest.csv, and a README with each marketplace's upload steps.
Up to 50 images go into one pack, picked by hand or as a whole project. No marketplace login is needed. Full steps are in the Listing Pack help article; current image specs are in our marketplace image size guide.
One pipeline, photo to listing
- Photograph the garment once — flat, on a hanger or a mannequin. Add a back photo if you want a back view.
- On-model photo — pick from 129 AI models and a plain background. 1 credit at HD, 2 at 2K; 4K is on Business and above.
- E-commerce pack — 3, 5 or 7 angle and detail shots from the same front photo, one credit each.
- Colour variants — the same design in another colourway, one credit each, instead of reshooting.
- Video — a short clip of the look on Pro and above, 2 credits a second at 720p.
- Listing Pack — images at every marketplace's size, the bulk sheets and the written copy. Free.
- WhatsApp catalogue card — the free Leaflet card for resellers and repeat buyers.
The point of one pipeline is that the words describe the photo the buyer actually sees. A description written separately from the image is how a listing ends up saying "round neck" over a photo of a V-neck.
What goes wrong, and how CatalogX handles it
| What goes wrong in listings | How CatalogX handles it |
|---|---|
| The description claims a fabric or blend the seller never checked | Fabric is written as a look only; fabric and care go in a "Confirm before upload" column |
| Copy describes the model's other clothes or jewellery | The copy is instructed to describe only the garment being sold |
| Titles stuffed with "premium", "stunning", "best" | Superlatives are excluded; colour is exact ("navy", not "blue") |
| Images rejected for size, then pasted into the wrong sheet column | Each marketplace gets its own canvas size and its own image column headers |
| The model photo changes the print, neckline or hem | The garment is measured before generating; on Pro and above an AI reviewer compares each result with your photo and re-shoots ones that drift, free |
| Paying again to rewrite the same SKU | Copy is cached per SKU — a second pack makes no new call |
