Sarees, kurti sets and ethnic wear
How CatalogX handles saree draping, pallu and pleats, dupatta styling, and hem-length accuracy for South Asian garments.
Ethnic wear is where CatalogX is built to win. The generation pipeline encodes construction rules for South Asian garments — saree pleats and pallu, dupatta draping, churidar ruching, lehenga flare — that generic AI try-on tools misread (a common failure elsewhere: a kurti rendered as a Western maxi dress).
Sarees
- Upload the saree flat or on a hanger. The in-app Saree Upload Guide (English and Hindi) shows the ideal photo.
- Choose a pallu drape style — how the pallu falls is selectable, not left to chance.
- Have a specific blouse? Upload it separately and it's styled with the saree.
Kurti vs Kurti Set
Two different garment types on purpose: Kurti generates the kurti alone; Kurti Set styles it with a dupatta (upload your own dupatta photo and pick its draping style, or let the AI style a matching one). Co-ord sets (kurti + pant, no dupatta) are their own type too.
Lehengas and dupattas
Lehengas support a back photo (for blouse back detail) and dupatta styling options. Flare and layering are preserved from your product photo.
Hem length accuracy
CatalogX measures garment length from your photo and anchors the result to it — a knee-length kurti stays knee-length on the model instead of drifting. You can also set the length explicitly (short/tunic, knee, long/floor) when the photo is ambiguous.
